SIQ Renews ISED Recognition for Wireless Device Testing Compliance

In October 2023, we successfully renewed and extended our recognition for the ISED Wireless Device Testing Laboratory. The extension specifically pertains to the RSS-102 standard, addressing Radio Frequency (RF) Exposure Compliance of Radiocommunication Apparatus. This document outlines the requirements and measurement techniques utilized to assess the RF exposure compliance of radiocommunication apparatus intended for use near the human body. The standard applies to radiocommunication apparatus with integral antennas, systems necessitating licensing with detachable antennas sold alongside transmitters, or license-exempt transmitters with detachable antennas, as defined in RSS-Gen.
