India: Starting January 1, 2024, Refrigeration Appliances are Required to Display the ISI Mark

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) initially designated January 1, 2023, as the deadline for mandating the ISI Mark for Refrigerating Appliances. However, the enforcement was subsequently postponed to January 1, 2024, providing manufacturers with additional time to achieve compliance.

As of the latest update, the requirement for the ISI Mark on Refrigerating Appliances is now in effect, in accordance with the revised enforcement schedule.
