Meeting of the International NoBo Organization at SIQ Ljubljana
In the month of September, SIQ hosted two meetings of the International Organization of Notified Bodies for Railway Interoperability (NoBo), one for subsystem rolling stock (RST) and the other for control, command and signalling (CCS).
More than 50 representatives of notified bodies from across Europe attended this year’s “NB-RAIL SG CCS 093” and “NB-RAIL SG RST 068” meetings.
Both Technical Sub-Groups shared their experiences and thoughts on the latest version of the Technical Specifications for Interoperability (TSI CCS and TSI RST) and application guidelines.
The discussion also touched on the challenges faced by notified bodies in their daily work, where presented logbooks serve as a vital resource, allowing members to highlight specific areas of concern and suggest potential improvements. Based on that, we propose a change recommendation for easier implementation of technical specifications.
Being part of the NoBo family is a contribution to meaningful advancements in the field of the common railway system we all strive for; therefore, we will continue to attend future meetings with our colleagues.
