Testing: Automotive and mobility

In the second quarter of 2022, we performed simultaneous vibration and climatic testing of a vehicle’s in-wheel electric motor, based on the requirements of VW 80000 (Issue 2021-01), Test case M04, with vibration Profile B. This involved a sinusoidal test and a wide-band random vibration test which simulates the vibration load on the component in the driving operating situation. It is used to verify the resistance of the component to flaw patterns such as component detachment or material fatigue.
