Our competencies are proven through accreditations!
An accreditation process is a professional, impartial and independent procedure, used by national accreditation services to officially confirm that the accredited body is qualified to execute specific conformity assessment tasks. Accreditation therefore represents one of the key pillars of a technically qualitative infrastructure.
SIQ is a conformity assessment body. During our work, we must conform to the ISO/IEC 17000 series of standards.
The Slovenian Accreditation has accredited us pursuant to the following standards:
- ISO/IEC 17025 for laboratories,
- ISO/IEC 17020 for inspection bodies,
- ISO/IEC 17065 for product certification, and
- ISO/IEC 17021 for management system certification.
ISO/IEC 17025: “This document has been developed with the objective of promoting confidence in the operation of laboratories. This document contains requirements for laboratories to enable them to demonstrate they operate competently, and are able to generate valid results. Laboratories that conform to this document will also operate generally in accordance with the principles of ISO 9001.”
